  • Electrode Stainless Steel Welding Wire (SMAW) Techweld E308-16 is a welding wire that has austenite microstructure welding results (wt% 19Cr, 10Ni). Very suitable for welding, such as thin stainless steel plates, stainless steel plates for high pressure, stainless steel pipes (welded or seamless), Stainless Steel AS, Stainless Steel Castings type AISI 301, 302, 305, and can also be used for welding 18% Cr – 8% Ni (AISI 304 / 304L, SUS 304 / 304L).
  • Electrode Stainless Steel Welding Wire (SMAW) Techweld E309L-16 is a welding wire that has austenite microstructure welding results (wt% 23.5Cr, 13Ni). Low carbon content, heat resistance and excellent anti-cracking. Suitable for welding low carbon stainless steel such as SUS309S, heat resistant steel 13Cr/18Cr and can also be used for welding stainless steel join carbon steel.
  • Techweld E316L-16 Stainless Steel Electrode Welding Wire (SMAW) is a welding wire that has austenite microstructure welding results (wt% 18.5Cr, 12.5Ni, 2.5Mo). Because it contains Mo, its resistance to acid and corrosion is very good. Heat resistance is also very good. Suitable for welding such as AISI 316/316L, SUS 316/316L. Often used by industrial fields such as textile factories, chemical factories, paper mills, rayon yarn factories, etc.

Usage Notes:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the surface of the material to be welded, free from dust and oil.
  • Clean the weld crust using a stainless steel brush to maintain the quality of the welding results.
  • If necessary, use the “swing” welding method, the width of the swing movement should not be more than the diameter of the welding wire (mm) x 2.5.
  • Dry the welding wire at a temperature of 250-300°C for 60 minutes before use.
  • Use a relatively low amperage and shorten the arc distance as much as possible to prevent cracks.
